Nicole Caporaso is the Operations Manager at the Gorman Cardiovascular Research Group.

She has over 15 years of expertise in awards management and business administration. Her role in research management is fundamental to the success of the group.

She has degrees from the Art Institute of Philadelphia and Delaware Count Community College in computer design and animation.

Christen Dillard, BS (Pre-Veterinary Science from Delaware State University, 2009) has 3 years technician experience in laboratory animal research. She currently serves as Regulatory Manager and also a trained anesthesia veterinary technician for the Gorman Cardiovascular Research Group. Her duties include but are not limited to coordinating and maintaining animal research activities and supervising technicians. She is responsible for training, compliance and the maintenance of records for ULAR and all IACUC protocols. She is also involved in the preoperative, intra-operative and post operative care of the animals.

Jerry is a MRI Technologist certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). He specializes in advanced Cardiac and Cardiovascular MRI utilizing custom developed sequences such as SPAMM, T1rho, PC, and 4D-flow.

He also assists in data analysis and technical writing, as well as pre- and post-operative animal care.

He has earned both his Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in the field of Radiological Technology from Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his clinical training at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital; a level one trauma center.

Kristina Lau, BS is an anesthesia veterinary technician in the Gorman lab.  She studied Animal Biology at University of California, Davis in 2009.

She is currently completing her Masters at Laboratory Animal Science from Drexel College of Medicine. 

Kristina has 6 years experience working as a veterinary technician in small animal clinics, wildlife rehabilitation centers, and a large animal teaching hospital.

She is responsible for pre-operative, post-operative and peri-operative anesthesia care.  Her duties also include maintaining records for ULAR and IACUC.
